Dr. Shahine is the newest member of Pacific NW Fertility, joining the clinic in August 2009. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Shahine comes to us from Stanford University where she completed her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and served as a clinical instructor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Shahine did her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California at San Francisco and obtained her medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine in North Carolina. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
In addition to helping patients with infertility and IVF, Dr. Shahine’s areas of interest include recurrent pregnancy loss, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and endometriosis. She is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society. She maintains a constant interest in research, and strives to stay up-to-date on the latest fertility research, techniques and technology in order to provide the newest and best treatments for her patients. In addition to her work at Pacific NW Fertility, she is involved in a teaching program at the University of Washington where she holds an appointment as a clinical instructor.
