Hanh Nguyen Cottrell received her Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology and Cognitive Science from the University of Michigan, where she graduated with high honors and thesis distinction. She received her medical degree from University of Toledo’s College of Medicine and completed her residency at University of Toledo’s Medical Center and Toledo Hospital. Dr. Cottrell completed her fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Emory University School of Medicine. She comes to Pacific Northwest Fertility from Ann Arbor, Michigan, where she was a reproductive endocrinologist at IVF Michigan and Ohio Fertility Centers and a core faculty member at Trinity St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor.
Dr. Cottrell has been recognized for her contributions as a clinician and scholar, and was a recipient of the Daniel G. McMurtrie MD Award and the Philip S. Willis Award, as well as a Gates Millennium Scholar. She is fluent in conversational Vietnamese.
Dr. Cottrell is dedicated to understanding the unique needs of every single patient and knows that truly exceptional fertility care comes from combining clinical excellence with deep compassion not just for patients’ medical experience, but their human experience.
