Shelun Tsai, MD, FACOG is an accomplished reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist. With a passion for both cutting-edge research and compassionate care, Dr. Tsai is dedicated to helping patients navigate the complexities of fertility treatment.
Dr. Tsai earned her medical degree from Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine after receiving her BA in Neurobiology from Harvard University, where she graduated magna cum laude. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Duke University followed by a clinical fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Weill Cornell Medical Center.
Dr. Tsai joined Pacific Northwest Fertility in 2024. Her research has focused on fertility preservation, egg freezing, preimplantation genetic testing, donor gamete use, and addressing racial and ethnic disparities in fertility care. She combines this expertise with a personalized, compassionate approach to patient care, and is committed to supporting and empowering every patient on their journey.
Her work has been widely published in leading medical journals including Fertility and Sterility, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics. She was also awarded a research grant from Pacific Coast Reproductive Society, selected as winner of the Robert Sassoon Chief Residents’ and Fellows’ Research Day, and received the Suheil and Lisa Muasher Resident Award in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
In her free time, she enjoys exploring new destinations, spending time with family and friends, trying new board games, and playing ultimate frisbee.
