Out of Town Patients

PNWF has cared for patients from outside the Seattle Metropolitan area for years. The pandemic has limited travel for fertility services so we will review options with you before you make a final plan. When possible, we enjoy working with your providers and nearby health centers to collaborate for testing and monitoring close to your home to minimize the amount of time you are away from home in Seattle for care. Wherever you live, the PNWF team will coordinate your experience and work to deliver the same extraordinary care you would receive if you were just down the street.

Alaska Patients

PNWF has a long history of providing infertility services to our neighbors to the north. Working with the patient’s hometown care provider, or nearby women’s health center, the PNWF team will collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other clinicians to maximize the quality of care while minimizing travel to Seattle.

Many of our Alaska patients choose to coordinate their care through Joy Zimmerman-Golden. She is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner who is trained in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility and has a long working relationship with PNWF. She provides patients with fertility workups, low-tech treatments such as intrauterine insemination (IUI), and the initial stages of in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment. Contact her in Anchorage at (907) 264-2333.
