Much of her research has focused on fertility preservation for transgender patients prior to transition, with publications in the New England Journal of Medicine and Pediatrics.
She grew up in Eastern Washington, attending high school in Richland, WA, after which she graduated from the University of Idaho. Dr. Rothenberg and her spouse met while in medical school. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, travel, cooking, floral arrangement and photography (her mini doodles, Brooks and Sage, are the most frequent subjects).
