Julie Lamb

Julie Lamb, MD, FACOG is Medical Director of Pacific NW Fertility (PNWF), where she has practiced for nearly 20 years. A nationally recognized leader in reproductive medicine, Dr. Lamb is a double board-certified reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist, author, educator, and advocate who is deeply passionate about family building and empowering women throughout their fertility journey.

Dr. Lamb graduated at the top of her class from Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago and completed her ObGYN residency at the University of Washington, where she currently serves as a Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She spent many years directing the REI component of UW’s ObGYN residency training program and is passionate about teaching and mentoring both University of Washington and Swedish ObGYN residents. Prior to joining PNWF, she served as faculty in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at UCSF in San Francisco, where she also completed her fellowship training.

In 2010, Dr. Lamb founded and continues to lead PNWF’s Center of Excellence for Fertility Preservation and is also co-founder of Simplify, PNWF’s frozen egg bank. She has particular expertise in helping patients build families through donor egg and gestational carrier treatment, guiding individuals and couples through some of the most complex and emotionally meaningful paths to parenthood. Patients consistently praise her compassionate, encouraging, and individualized care. Since returning to Seattle in 2010, she has been recognized every year as a Top Doctor by Seattle Magazine and Seattle Met.

Dr. Lamb is widely respected as a leader in the field of reproductive medicine. She currently serves as President of the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society (PCRS), one of the largest and most highly regarded professional reproductive medicine societies in the world — an honor that reflects her longstanding contributions to advancing the field through clinical care, education, research, and mentorship.

She has published numerous peer-reviewed research articles and delivered scientific presentations nationally and internationally. Dr. Lamb previously served as President of the Seattle Gynecologic Society and has served on the boards and committees of organizations including Creating a Family, Modern Fertility, the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society, and ASRM’s Patient Education Committee. She was also an original member of ASRM’s Embryo Transfer Committee and has taught embryo transfer techniques to hundreds of physicians. During the pandemic, she authored her first book, The Fertility Experts’ Guide to Egg Freezing: Everything You Need to Know About Putting Your Fertility on Ice.

As a former Fulbright Scholar, Dr. Lamb spent time in Harare, Zimbabwe studying women’s reproductive health. She remains deeply committed to advancing fertility education and helping patients navigate their family-building journeys with both expertise and compassion. She is proud to have helped thousands of individuals and couples achieve their dreams of parenthood.

Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Lamb enjoys hiking, wake surfing, cycling, skiing, and backpacking alongside her husband and four children.
